• Permethrin is an insecticide which kills mosquitoes and other insects when they come in contact with materials, such as mosquito nets and clothing, which have been impregnated with the substance.
• It is not an insect repellent for use on the skin.
• Adheres well to synthetic and non-synthetic materials.
• Is effective for approximately six months.
• Once impregnated, netting or clothing has no vapour action and is safe around sleeping children.
• Wearing clothing that has been treated with Permethrin, in conjunction with the use of insect repellents on exposed skin will give the best possible chance of avoiding insects.

• Dilute the pemethrin solution provided with water (according to the material type).
• Place the material to be treated, in the diluted solution and immerse for two minutes. 
• Remove the item from the solution and allow to dry.
• Once dry, the material is impregnated and is safe to come in contact with the skin.

• Keep impregnated items in sealed plastic bag(s) and avoid direct sunlight to maximise effectiveness.
