We here at Equip, like to help out where we can... by supporting Equip, you help us support those less fortunate than ourselves.  The photo's below were taken in March 2008 at a village in Sumba, Indonesia.  These Equip mosquito bed nets were distributed by Mission Aid and are part of their malaria prevention program in Sumba.

"...We travelled with Yakkersum to a boarding home in a small town, Melolo, to deliver mosquito nets. There are only primary schools in the villages, so some students live in a boarding home to attend high school. This boarding home consists of 4 rooms, 10 girls each in three rooms, and 8 boys in the last room. They sleep on mats on the floor and we were able to donate sufficient nets for all the students living at the boarding home. Both carers and students were very excited with this gift. Lydia, one of the students, asked if we could give some nets to her family living in a village in the mountains. “Its rainy season now and there is many mosquitoes. My brother has just recovered from malaria, and I do not want them to suffer any more.”..."  extract from a letter by Diane Bosveld, Mission Aid April'08.
