• Personal Protection Items:
  • Protective Gloves x 2:
    Use for body substance isolation.

• Application Equipment:
  • Cotton Tips (3) x 1:
    Use with oil of cloves, cavit or for cleaning the tooth.
  • Cotton Rolls x 5:
    Use to keep areas in the mouth dry.
  • Dental Mirror x 1:
    Use for viewing mouth, other end to manoeuver cavit.
  • Dental Floss x 1:
    Use for removing particles between the teeth.

• Medications:
  • Cavit x 1 (7g):
    Use as a temporary filling.
  • Oil of Cloves x 1 (5ml):
    Use on the gum to relieve toothache.
  • Paracetamol (10) x 1 (500mg):
    Use for additional pain relief. Take 1 or 2 tablets every 3 to 4 hours. A maximum of 8 per day.

  • Antibiotic (NOT INCLUDED):
    It is suggested that an antibiotic (eg. roxithromycin or amoxycillin) be added to your kit for travel to remote areas. These prescription medications are available only from a doctor.
