Heather Kirkpatrick

Heather leads rafting, mountaineering, sea kayaking and hiking expeditions worldwide as a freelance outdoor educator. Her employers include The National Outdoor Leadership School, adventure travel companies and tertiary institutions. She regularly teaches survival skills to expeditioners and trains the Search and Rescue Team in Antarctica for the Australian Antarctic Division. Heather has been teaching wilderness first aid for eight years and incorporates a lot of stories from the field into her teaching.
